Anna Yeo, PhD
Psychological Services
Hello

I am Dr. Yeo, a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in individual and family psychotherapies for children, teens, and young adults. My areas of expertise include empirically supported treatments of mood and anxiety disorders, stress and trauma, childhood behavioral and academic difficulties, family conflicts, and chronic illness management. I also offer psychological evaluation services to help understand your unique cognitive, emotional, and behavioral patterns and inform your treatment plans (read more here).
Across my evaluative and therapeutic work, my goal is to uncover the nuanced “whys” that shape your behaviors and emotions: why you are hurting, why unhelpful patterns persist, and why understanding ‘you’ matters. From this insight, we collaborate to identify actionable strategies—grounded in scientific evidence and guided by your values and aspirations—to help you feel better and make meaningful, lasting change.

I am committed to providing gender-affirming and culturally responsive care for LGBTQIA+ youth and individuals from diverse backgrounds. I seek to understand each person's lived experience within a broader social and cultural context, through both my continued education and gentle exploration of the individual’s own narrative. My work is grounded in ongoing reflection on my own identities and experiences, so that I can remain mindful of how these shape my clinical perspective and the way that I relate to you. I am bilingual and bicultural, and offer services in English and Korean.
